Interesting article from Coding Horror describing someone’s painful experience of upgrading Linux. Kinda makes me feel less stupid about all the long hours spent every time I try to upgrade Ubuntu and spend hours reconfiguring (or plain reinstalling) stuff…

Um post bem conciso que explica como instalar o Subversion (ja que o synaptics so instala a versao 1.3.alguma_coisa)
Se a instalacão não funcionar de primeira, de uma olhada nos comentários do post. No meu caso, o tal libexpat1-dev estava mesmo faltando…

A great and concise set of tips for linux noobs out there (like me) to install Subversion 1.4.2 (synaptics only installs version 1.3.something…)
If the installation doesn’t work at first, read the comments on the post. It might be just a missing libexpat1-dev, like someone suggested (it was my case!)
